This line of kits is inspired by John Willie' s BIZARRE Magazines, published around the 50' s.
He liked leggy, dark-haired, small-breasted women and used to take photographs and then draw from the photographs.
It is said that the secretaries at BIZARRE were also his models.
This kit is designed and adapted to an embroidery work, using one of Willie' s drawing.
This pattern uses only two easy stitches and might be done in a few evenings.
The Embroidery Kit comes with:
– an embroidery needle.
– black embroidery floss.
-metallic embroidery thread
– calico with the pattern drawn or printed over it ( you will just have to follow the lines…)
– a good quality ( made in the UK) 7 inches ( 18 cm) wooden embroidery hoop.
This hoop can also be used as a frame, and be painted or just left natural.
– an instructions sheet with all the informations you will need.
The finished embroidery will measure 7 inches in diameter.
The kit comes in a cellophane envelope.
